The When Women Speak film was produced under the British Academy Sustainable Development Programme, which was supported by the UK government’s Global Challenges Research Fund. Additional contributions were made by the Institute of African Studies at the University of Ghana, and the Institute for Global Innovation at the University of Birmingham. The training packages were produced under an Arts and Humanities Research Council Impact Acceleration Award from the University of Bristol, in collaboration with Abantu-for-Development.
